The cost of car insurance is on the increase after a sudden increase in the cost of premiums has been recorded by The AA. Carry On Driving with the Active Discount Scheme
Recent figures show that premiums for drivers in the 17 – 25 year old age group have risen by a massive 47% in a year.
Some reports are evidencing as much as 8% of drivers have given up running a motor vehicle, putting the reason why down to the rising cost of running a car and with young drivers bearing the brunt of the insurance prices rises, fewer and fewer are able to afford to drive.
